CiM has been working in the maintenance management business since 1997. We initially gained recognition for our experience implementing and supporting IBM Maximo EAM software. As the first authorized reseller of Maximo in North America, we have successfully completed more then 100 implementations Maximo in Canada and the United States. Throughout that time, we developed a strong expertise in the business processes related to maintenance management and as a result, we established a Maintenance Excellence Program, which is focused on the improvement of business processes using the best practices in the industry.
In 2002, drawing upon our experience in reliability strategy, we began to develop an effective planning and scheduling tool for day-to-day operations that would be embedded in the new Maximo web platform. We completed our first implementations of Visual Planner in 2004 and since then, we have leveraged our industry expertise and user feedback to continuously develop and improve its functionality, growing it into a complete solution that covers all steps of the planning and scheduling process, from long term PM planning to weekly scheduling and daily execution of the schedule.
Today, we continue to work with over 200 companies around the world, with a significant presence in most business sectors, from oil and gas, to utilities, mining, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, facilities, transportation and more.
In 2011, Visual Planner Suite was awarded the first ever IBM Tivoli Integrated Service Management Library Excellence Award for attracting the most attention out of all Tivoli add-on solutions.
