Maximo Upgrade

Hotfix / Patch Application

The task of applying patches and fixes to a configured Maximo instance is not rocket science but requires time and patience that most Maximo Administrators do not have during the working day. Let our certified Maximo Technicians plan and execute your fix / patch or upgrade task. We will access and validate your development instance, prepare the patch and create a patch sequence document for your approval. Once the Maximo Administrator understands the impact and consequence of the patch only then will the sequence by applied. As part of the knowledge transfer process CiM technicians will prescribe a test and back-out plan.

For Maximo Administrator that are more ‘hands-on, we also offer this as a coach/mentor who works remotely to support.

  • Assessment of your Maximo system: application server, database server, report server and pre-production environment
  • Patch or hotfix installation on pre-production environment
  • Acceptance testing of basic data tables, functionality tests and testing of any custom screens, functions, reports, interfaces, workflow, etc.
  • Customer approval of acceptance tests.
  • Patch or hotfix installation of production environment
  • Final acceptance testing and go-live
